Bolt lists a minimum age of 18 and asks for a valid Polish driving licence, identity document, criminal record certificate, medical and psychological certificates. Your right to live and work in Poland must fit your individual situation. A fleet partner can explain the contract and vehicle arrangements.
Check your eligibility
- Confirm your residence and right to work for the proposed arrangement.
- Prepare a valid Polish driving licence and passport, identity document or residence card.
- Get a Polish criminal record certificate; Bolt requires it to be no older than 30 days at the in-person check.
- Obtain the required medical and psychological fitness certificates.
- Check whether your city requires a taxi driver ID.
Use Bolt's driver document guide as the current checklist.
Choose a car and operating model
For the standard Bolt category, the current vehicle age limit is 20 years, with at least four doors and four passenger seats. Premium categories have lower age limits. The car also needs the appropriate taxi licence extract, registration document with taxi entry, insurance and local markings. Check vehicle rules and car linking instructions before paying for a car or rental.
Own business or fleet partner?
If you operate your own business, you arrange the taxi licence, vehicle documents and tax obligations. With a fleet partner, confirm the partner's licence, your contract, all deductions, car costs and payout terms in writing. The time to first trip depends on your documents and Bolt's verification; no fixed 24-hour promise applies to every applicant.
